Albaraa Wail
My name is Albaraa Wail, and I am a filmmaker and media professional dedicated to telling stories about human strength, cultural identity, and the challenges faced by people in difficult situations. I graduated from Düzce University, where I studied film direction, and over the past five years, I have worked... in various roles within the media and film industry, focusing on innovative and creative projects. My first film, "The Boy Of The Fish," was influenced by a vivid dream I had and my desire to share the experiences of children living in refugee camps. I filmed this movie in northern Syria using an iPhone, aiming to capture the genuine emotions of the children. The film explores themes of freedom, confinement, and the power of imagination. My work is greatly influenced by my Palestinian background, and I believe that media can serve as a powerful tool for creating social change. Alongside my film projects, I also produce and host a program called "Alzebda," which highlights Palestinian culture and important issues facing the community. My goal is to connect people with stories that truly matter. I speak Arabic, English, and Turkish, and I remain committed to creating films and content that promote meaningful and socially aware storytelling.
