Luke Konopasky is known for his collaborative work with his sister, Rita. Recently, they launched SDG Pictures, a production company that emphasizes collaboration and is motivated to craft character-driven films that aspire to provide a sense of connection and give something meaningful back to their audience. Their first film under... SDG Pictures was "Tacenda," marking their first official collaboration as co-directors. Luke's strength in directing shines in his ability to translate narratives into vibrant visuals, breathing unparalleled life into each story.

From an earlier age, Luke and Rita grew up immersed in stories. They would watch old Hollywood classic films starting as early as age five. If they weren't watching a movie- they were making one. Every summer growing up, they gathered a group of friends together to make a short film, and then they would screen the film in their high school's auditorium for the entire school. Their top achievement during high school came with the release of their horror film, "Red Water," which garnered acclaim on the festival circuit, earning numerous awards. After high school, they both attended USC's School of Cinematic Arts and graduated with a film production degree and a passion to make character-driven films that explore human complexities.
